Feb.1, 2017 An Evening with Fadi Ghandour

On Wednesday, Feb 1, we kicked off our 2017 LebNet tech events series with over 60 attendees to our Evening with Fadi Ghandour, moderated by LebNet chairman, Abdo George Kadifa.

Fadi walked us through the successful adventure of logistic startup Aramex. His story telling skills transported us to the early days of entrepreneurship in the Mena region and what it took then, to navigate the meanders of government regulations and the competition of foreign giants in the industry. The conversation then shifted to the current situation of the ecosystem in the region. Fadi shared his valuable insights on Mena’s young generation of entrepreneurs, funding opportunities and pressing needs to move forward.
