When you’re first getting ready to start a new business, there’s a lot to consider: company incorporation, technology, product, team, business planning, financials, fund raising are all on your mind. Don’t know where to begin? Khaled will shed some light on what is important at this critical early stage and provide you with answers and industry guidelines. He’ll also talk about the different available sources of capital, what the trade-offs are and what you should look for in an investor. Don’t miss it!

Khaled received his B.A. and M.A. in mathematics and social and political sciences from Cambridge University. He spent years in sales, marketing and general management positions with a succession of successful start-ups. He joined InterWest’s IT team in 2005 and focuses on investments in mobile, cloud and data center infrastructure, including systems, software and semiconductors. Khaled is currently a board member of AryakaExalt CommunicationsInVisage TechnologiesNexPlanarVirsto Software and Xirrus.
