Recap: November 10 , 2014 Event
We are proud to announce that our event on November 10, was our fifth SOLD OUT event in a row. Thank you all for your support and participation.
The event was held at Pillsbury law firm in Palo Alto and featured our keynote speaker Nora Denzel, a Silicon Valley veteran executive, and impactful mentor. Nora shared with us her purposeful and inspiring insights into mentoring.
Our guest speakers were Michael Wakim, seasoned entrepreneur and founder of Fidus Inc., and presenter Ronald Ishak, former Apple engineer and founder of Rise Devices.
Both Mike and Ron presented proof points on how a good mentorship program works. With Mike as mentor and Ron as the mentee, they both shared their experience and passion for entrepreneurship.
The crowd listened attentively to Ron’s story from his childhood in South Africa, to adulthood in Lebanon and finally settling in the US after getting his education at the “top ranked most affordable college” like he stated.
At the end of Ron’s presentation, we had the opportunity to try his company’s new DRIVE device first hand! Watch DRIVE video here.
An impressive crowd composed of young entrepreneurs, college students and Silicon Valley executives as well as experienced start up founders gathered around the speakers and were able to mix and mingle.
As usual, this event presented an opportunity for our long time members, our young professional members and LebNet friends to enjoy a great networking moment in a convivial and highly interactive atmosphere.
Finally , a BIG THANK YOU to David Ajalat from Pillsbury law firm for offering their facility and their generous offer to host and cater this event.
